MISSION STATEMENT

Living Waters Co-Op is a Christian community that focuses on investing in hearts, enriching the mind,
and learning together. We desire to help homeschoolers further their education together; through co-op groups, nature study days, field trips and other activities that support teacher-parent, students and children in their homeschooling journey.

Code of conduct

  • As homeschoolers we want to shine in our community. We do this by treating others and our volunteers with respect.

  • We take care of the wonderful facilities that we are being allowed to use.

  • We keep outside and inside picked up and we clean up after ourselves.

  • We strive to leave the UB Church, the Stevens’ Barn, field trip locations, and nature trails better than how we found them.

  • When we are on our field trips we will follow the rules of the facilities and treat our group guides with respect.

  • At the UB Church, we will be diligent to not leave doors held open, staying in the areas we are allowed in, staying out of room 1 and the church’s gym equipment room, and to not touch the musical equipment that is on the stage as well as the sound equipment in the back.

  • We will follow the rules that Heather and Jesse Stevens have for their property.

The definition of a Co-Op or a Cooperative Group is that a group of people decide to become members of a group with other like minded people and all participate in a way that benefits each other.

We take our skills and apply them to create the best possible group we can. There are different ways you can participate by, volunteering to clean the church area we are in after our on site days. We have 8

days that need to be filled. It takes about an hour to clean. That includes, vacuuming/ mopping, wiping down the kitchen if it was used, wiping down tables, trash, and bathrooms. Other volunteering opportunities you can find on our board.
